Blackhead Remover
Best Acne
Treatments
Homemade
blackhead remover are convenient, yet fairly
unusual. The ingredients used in some of them may seem a
bit wrong in some cases, but they really do work, and can
have very long lasting results.
Develop
Your Own Acne Blackhead Remover
Scrub
You can develop
your very own facial scrub, using
toothpaste, water, fenugreek leaves and mint leaves. This
should all be mixed together and applied to the face two
or three times a day for up to ten minutes at a time,
until the infection or inflammation disappears
completely.
This should be
washed off the face as soon as the ten minutes are up, as
spending too much time with the ’scrub’ on your face can
cause mild irritation. You do not have to use all of the
ingredients, all of the time. If the blackheads become
red or look as if they are going to develop further into
whiteheads or pustules, you can use just toothpaste
alone. This will actively reduce the reddening of the
skin.
Aloe Vera
for Acne blackhead
remover
An alternative
homemade
blackhead remover consists of Aloe Vera oil, cucumber
and mint. You do not need water for this treatment as
there is so much contained in the cucumber. It should be
mashed up using a pestle and mortar into a fine paste,
and then applied to the affected area like a face masque.
The masque should be left for between five and ten
minutes and removed using clean, tepid, running
water.
The same mixture
should never be used more than once, as you can
exacerbate the problem. It is recommended that one uses
this homemade remedy in conjunction with a mild facial
cleanser, and do not scrub the face too hard because you
are likely to damage the skin, making it even more
difficult to remove any
blackheads.
All
natural is the best
It is not certain
what the best homemade blackhead removers are. It is,
however, known that the best are those made using natural
and organic ingredients. There are lots of different
facial
steaming teas available as well as an extensive
recipe list of homemade
remedies.
The more natural
the treatment, the better, as you know that you will not
be covering your face in potentially harmful chemicals
that may also dry out your skin. Aloe Vera seems to be
the most frequently used ingredient, so look out for this
in any product or recipe you wish to use. You can use any
good search engine to find more information on what kind
of blackhead
removers are available to ’do-it-yourself’ or you can
consult your local pharmacist.
